On the occasion of 90 years of Indian mission, the Society initiated a new mission in Timor Leste, a small country that has 98% of Catholics. The missionaries, Srs. Molly Cherian, Rita Ann, Josephine Stella and Josmin Joseph set their foot in the island on 22 June 2017. They are living amidst the people in Luro, a village on the hillock in Baucau diocese, availing themselves for education, primary health care, social work and above all on faith formation.
